Stephen Arbib
Chief Executive Officer
Stephen Arbib is a Canadian entrepreneur who believes one can do well while doing good.
Throughout his career, he has founded companies which are not only successful, but benefit society and help those truly in need.
In 2013, Mr. Arbib co-founded Momentum Solutions, one of the world’s leading providers of life-support services for governments, humanitarian and emergency operations. He now serves as the CEO.
Prior to Momentum Solutions, Mr. Arbib was a Director at SkyLink Aviation, having founded and managed their European operations from Rome, Italy until 2006. Later, he moved to Toronto to manage the Canadian Department of National Defence sales office for SkyLink.
Mr. Arbib is also the co-founder of Cycura Inc., provider of advanced, customized, and confidential cybersecurity services to governments, companies, and organizations with particularly high intellectual property (IP) value.
Born in Tel Aviv, Israel in 1977, Mr. Arbib moved to Toronto at the age of 10. He attended Ryerson University for Business and following his second year, enrolled in a joint entrepreneurship program in Vancouver (with Harvard University).
Mr. Arbib is an active member of Toronto’s non-profit community, and is a frequent benefactor of medicinal efforts to countries all over the world, including Syria, Mozambique, Somalia and elsewhere.
Hamel Modi
President & COO, Freight Transport
Hamel Modi is the President and COO of Momentum Freight Transport. He is a Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt with over 20 years experience in Transportation and Warehousing strategic solutions coupled with a strong financial background.
Through his work in technology, automation, change management, coaching and development, Hamel has a proven track record in the creation of lean high performing/achieving teams with top tier service and fiscal results.
Prior to joining Momentum Freight, Hamel spent the last 10 years working in the 3 and 4 PL space with Metro Supply Chain and SCI. He has experience in all facets of leading and optimizing transportation and warehouse operations. Following its legalization in 2018, Hamel developed industry leading full-service solutions for recreational cannabis across all markets.
Hamel also spent 10 years in Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) working with Canada Bread and Maple Leaf Foods. He led several lean Six Sigma and go-to-market strategic projects and is widely considered to be an expert in Direct Store Delivery (DSD), route development, engineering and network design.
Randy Rolph
VP of Business Development, Freight Transport
Randy serves as the Vice President of Business Development with Momentum Freight Transport. He brings with him 18 years of experience in last mile logistics and same-day delivery. With a proven track record of entrepreneurial success, including three company exits, Randy’s leadership and dedication to team growth are invaluable assets to our organization.
Since 2017, Randy’s extensive experience in the cannabis industry across Canada and the USA has allowed him to build deep industry knowledge and forge strategic partnerships. Most recently, he has been instrumental in leading business development efforts in freight and warehouse management at Canada’s largest privately held 3PL, where he has been for the past year.
Randy plays a pivotal role in driving business development efforts, leveraging his background in freight and warehouse management to deliver impressive growth and results.
